This input shaft and hub fits Chrysler A618 47RE / 48RE transmissions and is designed for performance Dodge diesel applications.
- The shaft is made from 300 Maraging steel and then heat treated to withstand high stress and torsional loads.
- The hub is made from 4140 HTSR (heat treated stress relieved) billet steel for additional durability.
- Both are precision-ground at all critical diameters.
- Shaft-to-hub splines have been increased from OEM standard 28 to 35 splines for 25% more surface contact.
- Unit is tested to 2,700 ft/lbs. of torque.
